Sweet – Home

Wow – its been a busy past week. Em has not been feeling well – so I have been playing caretaker,
cook, bread-winner, and husband. Tiring
jobs.. =/ But well worth it. =)

Sunday afternoon we looked at a house in Sweet to buy. It is
an older home with mature trees on 1.5 acres with lots of outlining sheds and
barns. About an acre of the land is
fenced in as a pasture with the other half acre being for the house and
garden. It is a very nice set up… only
the house is 2100 sq ft with 2 bedrooms and one bath.

You might say, “only two bedrooms in that large of a house,
you got to be kidding!” Well, nope… It
just has one really big living room. =)

The pros to having such a big living room is that we can
have lots of people over for a bible study. Of course, I would want to look at
seeing how we could add a third room in the event we have kids…. That is one
reason why I am going to try to take a friend up there this weekend and look at
it again. He has a really good eye for
remolding houses – plus he is good at see what’s wrong with things! =)

The bad new is that the owner wants 200K – which is pretty
high. If we did get serious about this
place, we would try to get it for a lot lower.. Yet, one step at a time.
